Welcome and thank you for joining me once more at “Abounding Grace”. To-day we continue with our study of the foundation doctrines of Christ as we discuss the place and the basis of the judgement of the wicked dead. We have already established the facts that this judgement is a judgement of the wicked dead and that the believer does not take part in this judgement. We also know from the Word that this judgement will take place at the end of the Millennium. We have also discussed the fact that it is not God’s will for any man to perish and the only reason a man will be judged at this judgement is because He rejected the Word of life by his own free will. Man chooses his own destiny, remember the Father lay’s before every man life or death it is the man privilege to choose, God will accept whatever choice the man makes.

The place of this judgement is in heaven at the great white throne.

Rev.20:11. (Amp) Then I saw a great white throne and the One Who was seated upon it, from Whose presence and from the sight of Whose face earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.

Ps.9:7-8. (Amp) But the Lord shall remain and continue forever; He has prepared and established His throne for judgment. And He will judge the world in righteousness (rightness and equity); He will minister justice to the peoples in uprightness.

The throne is literal and white indicates absolute righteousness and justice of the judgment.

Ps.45:6-7. (Amp) Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Your kingdom. You love righteousness, uprightness, and right standing with God and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows.

Last time we discussed the books, remember, every person’s name is recorded in the book of the living, every person’s deeds, motives, word’s, are recorded, every time a person hears the message the gospel and rejects it is recorded in a book. It is by these records that the wicked dead will be judged.

That brings us to the basis for this judgement:

The law of conscience:

Rom.2:12-16. (Amp) All who have sinned without the Law will also perish without [regard to] the Law and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged and condemned by the Law. For it is not merely hearing the Law [read] that makes one righteous before God, but it is the doers of the Law who will be held guiltless and acquitted and justified. When Gentiles who have not the [divine] Law do instinctively what the Law requires, they are a law to themselves, since they do not have the Law. They show that the essential requirements of the Law are written in their hearts and are operating there, with which their consciences (sense of right and wrong) also bear witness; and their [moral] decisions (their arguments of reason, their condemning or approving thoughts) will accuse or perhaps defend and excuse [them] on that day when, as my Gospel proclaims, God by Jesus Christ will judge men in regard to the things which they conceal (their hidden thoughts).

The law of memory:

Luke.16:25. (Amp) But Abraham said, Child, remember that you in your lifetime fully received [what is due you in] comforts and delights, and Lazarus in like manner the discomforts and distresses; but now he is comforted here and you are in anguish.

An interesting observation here, read the full account in your own Bible, remember the rich man died and was buried; Lazarus died and was carried to Abraham’s bosom also known as paradise. Note that after physical dead a person is still able to remember.

I would venture to say that every nation on this planet has had the gospel preached to it at some time or other, have you ever noticed how all religions have something to say about Jesus, if you think of Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism to name but a few, all openly reject Jesus as the Son of God and choose their own way to please God. If my memory serves we well, and I know it does as I have the mind of Christ, it is written that the end won’t come until the gospel has been preached to every nation.

Matt.24:14. (KJV) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

I believe that has been done, the nations have chosen to reject it.

The Law of Moses:

Rom.2:12-16. (Amp) All who have sinned without the Law will also perish without [regard to] the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged and condemned by the Law.

In closing I would like to say that there is no person on the face of the earth that could possibly pass one of these examinations that we are discussing, remember what the word judgement means: To examine, study, evaluate and uncover in order to arrive at a verdict as to whether a reward or condemnation is deserved. It depends on the result of the investigation. Take any of the above mentioned religions, a Muslim for instance will be judged according to the Koran, if he broke one law he will be guilty of breaking all the laws in that book, without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness for sin, if there is no forgiveness there can only be punishment for the broken law. The reason for Jesus’ coming was to shed His blood for mankind as God’s sacrificed lamb, and to impart eternal life, God life into the real you, into the spirit man and have your name recorded in the Lamb’s book of life.

We can now understand why it is so important that you make Jesus the Lord of your life, so that through Him we can escape this coming judgement, I implore you by the mercies of God that you accept the life that God the Father is offering you to-day by accepting Jesus into your life, all you have to do is pray the following prayer from your heart and by faith receive the promise of the Father which is ‘all who call upon His name shall be saved”. Have a day filled with joy and laughter, and don’t forget to share the Word of His grace, spread the fragrance of His love everywhere you go. Love ya.

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Thank you for joining me at “Abounding Grace” as we continue our study of the judgement of the wicked dead. Yesterday we looked at the subjects of this judgement and we established that the wicked dead are all men through the ages who have rejected the Word of God. To-day we will discuss the time of this judgement. Remember this judgement is reserved for the wicked dead, and we as the body of Christ are not include at the great white throne judgement.

  • The time of this judgement is at the end of the Millennium.

Rev.20:7-15. (KJV) And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Every person ever born has their name entered into the book of life, that is, their physical birth, those who receive Jesus as their Lord have their names then entered into His book which is the Lamb’s book of life, that is their spiritual rebirth, that is why Jesus said man must be born again. If a person dies unsaved he is blotted out of the book of life:

Ps.69:28. (Amp) Let them be blotted out of the book of the living and the book of life and not be enrolled among the [uncompromisingly] righteous (those upright and in right standing with God).

The Word states that the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Every idle word a person speaks, all a person has ever done is recorded in books. God keeps perfect records. Every time a person hears the Gospel and rejects it is record, all deeds good and bad are recorded in the books, these records will be used at the persons trail at the great white throne.

If a person dies without making Jesus his Lord and saviour then at his death his name is blotted out of the book of life, that person then can never be enrolled among the righteous.

Heaven and earth are renovated by fire.

Rev.20:11. (Amp) Then I saw a great white throne and the One Who was seated upon it, from Whose presence and from the sight of Whose face earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.

2Pet.3:7-13. (Amp) But by the same word the present heavens and earth have been stored up (reserved) for fire, being kept until the Day of Judgment and destruction of the ungodly people. Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash, and the [material] elements [of the universe] will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up. Since all these things are thus in the process of being dissolved, what kind of person ought [each of] you to be [in the meanwhile] in consecrated and holy behaviour and devout and godly qualities, while you wait and earnestly long for (expect and hasten) the coming of the day of God by reason of which the flaming heavens will be dissolved, and the [material] elements [of the universe] will flare and melt with fire? But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide.

It is not the desire of the Father that any should perish but that all should be born again and have their names recorded in the Lamb’s book of life.

Hebr.12:25-28. (Amp) So see to it that you do not reject Him or refuse to listen to and heed Him Who is speaking [to you now]. For if they [the Israelites] did not escape when they refused to listen and heed Him Who warned and divinely instructed them [here] on earth [revealing with heavenly warnings His will], how much less shall we escape if we reject and turn our backs on Him Who cautions and admonishes [us] from heaven? Then [at Mount Sinai] His voice shook the earth, but now He has given a promise: Yet once more I will shake and make tremble not only the earth but also the [starry] heavens. Now this expression, Yet once more, indicates the final removal and transformation of all [that can be] shaken, that is, of that which has been created, in order that what cannot be shaken may remain and continue. Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe.

Listen to God’s hearts cry, do not reject Him, it is not His will for man to perish.

Rom.1:21-23. (Amp) Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honour and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools [professing to be smart, they made simpletons of themselves]. And by them the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God were exchanged for and represented by images, resembling mortal man and birds and beasts and reptiles.

That is all for now my dear friends. I pray that each and every person who reads this post is born again, and if you aren’t or if you are not sure if you or not  then right where you are bow your head and pray the following prayer from your heart and our loving Heavenly Father will receive you into His fold, all who come to Him will He in no wise cast out:

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Welcome back once again to “Abounding Grace”. To-day we will begin a study of the last of the foundation doctrines of Christ as we discuss the judgement of the wicked dead, or “The Great Throne Judgement”. Once again I must stress that this judgement does not include the body of Christ, and we as God’s people should not place ourselves in the judgement, by that I mean that we must know and understand that we will never stand before God the Father for judgement of sin. Once again this is the judgement of the wicked dead.

Rev.20:11-15. (Amp) Then I saw a great white throne and the One Who was seated upon it, from Whose presence and from the sight of Whose face earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. I [also] saw the dead, great and small; they stood before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is [the Book] of Life. And the dead were judged (sentenced) by what they had done [their whole way of feeling and acting, their aims and endeavours] in accordance with what was recorded in the books. And the sea delivered up the dead who were in it, death and Hades (the state of death or disembodied existence) surrendered the dead in them, and all were tried and their cases determined by what they had done [according to their motives, aims, and works]. Then death and Hades (the state of death or disembodied existence) were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s [name] was not found recorded in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire.

Acts.17:31. (Amp) Because He has fixed a day when He will judge the world righteously (justly) by a Man Whom He has destined and appointed for that task, and He has made this credible and given conviction and assurance and evidence to everyone by raising Him from the dead.

Rom.2:16. (KJV) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

(Mess) Their response to God’s yes and no will become public knowledge on the day God makes his final decision about every man and woman. The Message from God that I proclaim through Jesus Christ takes into account all these differences.

  • The subjects of this judgement are the wicked dead:

The wicked dead consist of all men that have died outside of Christ, you see even the spiritually dead will be resurrected, we can now understand that there is no such thing as death, where a person ceases to exist, the body can die, but the actual person who is a spirit being can never cease to exist, the resurrection of the wicked dead is a resurrection of their bodies, their spirits will once again be in those bodies for a judgement unto condemnation. It is an eternal judgement. All men will live eternally; it is the choice of the individual where he spends eternity, in the presence of God the Father, of in the lake of fire and brimstone with his choice of father the devil.

Rev.20:12-15. (Amp) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

My dear friends isn’t it great to know that because of what Jesus did for us and because we believed and accepted Him as our sin offering we don’t have to even think about this judgement that is coming on all those who reject the grace of God. The reason why we are studying this judgement is because it is in the Word and we must realize that we cannot as God’s people place ourselves at the judgement of the nations, the wicked dead nor at the judgement of Israel, the judgements that concern us are the judgement of our sin in Christ at the cross, the ongoing daily self judgement for when we miss the mark and then of course the judgement at the bema seat of Christ. I just want to say “Thank you Jesus”.

That’s all for now folk’s so have a happy day, for happy are those who’s God is the Lord, share the Word that the Lord is entrusting to you and spread His love all around.

If you have never received Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour then you are a stranger to the covenants of God and you are in this world without God, you can be in this world with a religion but if you are not born again you are in this world without God, so make a quality decision right now and receive the eternal life God the Father is holding out to you to-day by bowing your head and praying the following prayer from your heart and receiving what God has promised you in His Word, you will be saved:

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Welcome to “Abounding Grace” and thank you for joining me in this study of Eternal Judgement. In our study of the judgement of the living nations we have thus far established that this does not concern the body of Christ as it is a judgement of the gentile nations, they will be judged by how they have treated Israel and this Judgement will take place in Israel at the Second Advent. To-day we will discuss the result of this judgement.

The result of this judgement is that some will be permitted to go into the millennium and some will be destroyed.

Matt.25:34, 41, 46. (Amp) Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father [you favoured of God and appointed to eternal salvation], inherit (receive as your own) the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Then He will say to those at His left hand, Begone from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels! Then they will go away into eternal punishment, but those who are just and upright and in right standing with God into eternal life.

Your homework for the week will be to read:

Zech.14. Please read in your own bible.

Joel.3. Please read in your own bible.

Our last study in this series of Foundation Doctrines will be the judgement of the wicked dead, or the Great White Throne Judgement were we will discuss the wicked dead, if you do a study of Matt.25:31-46 with Rev.20:11-15 it will reveal that this judgment of the living nations is entirely different from the Great White Throne Judgment.

Judgment of the Nations.                                                 Great White Throne Judgment.

Living nations. [Matt.25:31-46].                                 Wicked dead resurrected [Rev.20:11-15].

Before the Millennium. [Matt.25:41-46].                  After the Millennium. [Rev.20:11-15].

Christ the Judge. [Matt.25:31].                                      God the Judge. [Rev.20:11-15].

On earth. [Matt.25:31-46. Zech.14].                           In heaven. [Rev.20:11-15].

Two classes – sheep and goat  nations.                     One class – all unsaved people. [Rev.20:11-15].

[Matt.25:31-46].

Some saved. [Matt.25:34].                                               None saved. [Rev.20:11-15].

Some punished. [Matt.25:41-46].                                 All punished. [Rev.20:11-15].

No resurrection. [Matt.25:32, Zech.14].                    A resurrection. [Rev.20:11-15].

No books opened. [Matt.25:31-46].                             Books opened. [Rev.20:11-15].

One generation. [Matt.25:31 – 46].                              All generations. [Rev.20:11-15].  [Acts.17:31].

Gentiles only. [Matt.25:32].                                            Jews and Gentiles. [Rev.20:11-15]

Angels help in this judgment. [Matt.25:31].              No angels mentioned in this judgment.

The basis of this judgment is that God will curse or bless according to how men have dealt with Israel in Daniel’s 70th Week.

  • The Sheep Nations:

Are those nations who favoured, supported and assisted Israel especially during Daniel’s 70th Week.

  • The Goat Nations.

Are those nations who persecuted, fought against, oppressed and were enemies of Israel especially during Daniel’s 70th Week.

The amazing fact is that there will be many survivors from the goat nations who will be allowed to enter the millennium.

Zech.14:16-19. (Amp) And everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths. And it shall be that whoso of the families of the earth shall not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, upon them there shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt does not go up to Jerusalem and present themselves, upon them there shall be no rain, but there shall be the plague with which the Lord will smite the nations that go not up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. This shall be the consequent punishment of the sin of Egypt and the consequent punishment of the sin of all the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

In these verses we have an explanation of what will happen to those who are left of all the nations who will fight against Jerusalem under the Antichrist. If they have not taken the mark of the Beast,

Rev.14:9-11. (Amp) Then another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a mighty voice, Whoever pays homage to the beast and his statue and permits the [beast's] stamp (mark, inscription) to be put on his forehead or on his hand, he too shall [have to] drink of the wine of God’s indignation and wrath, poured undiluted into the cup of His anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no respite (no pause, no intermission, no rest, no peace) day or night–these who pay homage to the beast and to his image and whoever receives the stamp of his name upon him.

And if they have not persecuted Christ’s brethren, the Jews [Matt.25:31-46], they are worthy of entrance into the kingdom, then they will be left here to live as natural men on earth. They will be permitted to establish themselves in the earth and live through the entire 1,000 years. They will be required to go up [or at least to send representatives] to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, and to keep the feast of the tabernacles yearly.

Zech.14:16. (Amp) And everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths.

And if they do not go up as required, there will be no rain in their land.

Zech.14:17-19. (Amp) And it shall be that whoso of the families of the earth shall not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, upon them there shall be no rain.

If any rebel with Satan at the end of the 1,000 years, then fire will come down from God out of heaven and devour them.

Rev.20:7-10.

Christ and His armies will land in Jerusalem at His Second Coming and fight the Battle of Armageddon on the first day of His arrival. [Zech.14, Rev.19:11-21]. Then the nations will be gathered to judgment to determine who is worthy of death for mistreatment of Israel – not every person in every nation of earth, but those responsible who have had dealings with Israel in the last days [Matt.25:31-46].

Note: There is no statement in Scripture saying that all men who enter the Millennium will be righteous or born again. We cannot teach this from Matt.25:34 because the righteousness of that passage consists of doing right by Israel, whether one is born again or not. Any man can feed, clothe, visit and do other things said regarding the sheep nations of Matt.25:31-46 who enter the Millennium, without being born again.

The judgment of the nations, as in Matt.25, will be to determine who is worthy of entrance into the kingdom; and being born again is not stated as a qualification either here or elsewhere.

  • Goat nation survivors.

I believe that during the seven year Tribulation there will be many people [men, women and children], living in the “goat” nations who will refuse to accept the mark of the Beast and will not enlist in the armed forces against Israel. These people will be permitted to enter the Millennium and will escape the punishment of hell at this time.

The “righteous” company of Matt.25:46 who receive eternal life could be any number of Tribulation survivors that accept Jesus Christ as Lord at the Second Coming.

All Tribulation people who: Take the mark of the Beast, worship the image of the Beast, who persecute and take up arms against Israel, will be judged and sentenced to hell. Matt.24:37-41 is a prophetic picture that tells us that at the Second Coming of Christ there will be two groups of people living on the earth [Tribulation survivors] and one group will be taken away and sentenced to hell. The other group will be left behind, escaping the judgment of hell and enter the Millennium to repopulate the earth.

Because millions of Tribulation survivors are allowed to become the Millennial people and live on earth throughout the 1,000 year reign of Christ we can scripturally say that, there will be millions of people living in that day who will outlive Methuselah [969 years]!

If you have not been born again by the Word and the spirit I would like you to bow your head right now and pray the following prayer by faith to make Jesus your Lord and saviour:

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Thank you for joining me once again at “Abound in Grace”. Yesterday we started a discussion on the judgement of the living nations, we found that this is a judgement of living nations at the Second Advent, it does not apply to the Church as the Church has already been judged at the judgement seat of Christ. (See the lesson on The judgement seat of Christ). The Word is quite clear on this matter. Let us continue with our study by discussing the place and basis of this judgement.

  • The place of this judgement is in Israel.

Zech.14.1-4. (Amp) Behold, A day of the Lord is coming when the spoil [taken from you] shall be divided [among the victors] in the midst of you. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses rifled and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the Lord go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle. And His feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from the east to the west by a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north and half of it toward the south.

Rev.19:11-16. (Amp) After that I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse [appeared]! The One Who was riding it is called Faithful (Trustworthy, Loyal, Incorruptible, Steady) and True, and He passes judgment and wages war in righteousness (holiness, justice, and uprightness). His eyes [blaze] like a flame of fire, and on His head are many kingly crowns (diadems); and He has a title (name) inscribed which He alone knows or can understand. He is dressed in a robe dyed by dipping in blood, and the title by which He is called is The Word of God. And the troops of heaven, clothed in fine linen, dazzling and clean, followed Him on white horses. From His mouth goes forth a sharp sword with which He can smite (afflict, strike) the nations; and He will shepherd and control them with a staff (sceptre, rod) of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath and indignation of God the All-Ruler (the Almighty, the Omnipotent). And on His garment (robe) and on His thigh He has a name (title) inscribed, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

  • The basis of this judgement will be the way the nation’s have treated Christ’s brethren, the Jews.

Matt.25:31-46. (Amp) When the Son of Man comes in His glory (His majesty and splendour), and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them [the people] from one another as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats; And He will cause the sheep to stand at His right hand, but the goats at His left. Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father [you favoured of God and appointed to eternal salvation], inherit (receive as your own) the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me. Then the just and upright will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and gave You food, or thirsty and gave You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger and welcomed and entertained You, or naked and clothed You? And when did we see You sick or in prison and came to visit You? And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least [in the estimation of men] of these My brethren, you did it for Me. Then He will say to those at His left hand, Begone from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels! For I was hungry and you gave Me no food, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome Me and entertain Me, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me with help and ministering care. Then they also [in their turn] will answer, Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You? And He will reply to them, Solemnly I declare to you, in so far as you failed to do it for the least [in the estimation of men] of these, you failed to do it for Me.

We see in the above scripture that this is referring to Jesus’ second coming, we also saw in revelation the phrase ‘the troops of heaven’, that is a reference to all the angels and saints, so once again this scripture is not referring to the church, it is referring to the treatment of the Jewish nation by the godless nations that are against her. When Jesus begins His discourse on: “For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me”, he is saying this to the nations, don’t take this scripture out of its setting.

Then the just and upright will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and gave You food, or thirsty and gave You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger and welcomed and entertained You, or naked and clothed You? And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least [in the estimation of men] of these My brethren, you did it for Me.

We must not forget that Israel still have a covenant with God and it is an everlasting covenant, Jesus in using the term brethren, is referring to covenant people, in this case Israel. The just and upright nations’ are those nations’ sympathetic towards Israel.

We will have to continue to-morrow by discussing the result of this judgement. Have a blessed day and may you dwell in the love, joy and peace of the Holy Ghost, Praise the Lord.

If you have never accepted Jesus into your life by being born again then to-day is the greatest day of your life as to-day salvation has come to your house. Please bow your head right now and pray the following prayer from your heart and receive by faith what God promises you when He says all that call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved:

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Welcome back to “Abound in Grace”. We will now look at the judgement of the living nations which will take place at the Second Advent. The reason for this study of eternal judgement is to fit all the different judgements into their right order so that we as believers are not confused about the different judgements, I have found that Christian people get pretty mixed up about judgement and there is a lot of confusion and fear about this subject. This is another judgement that does not concern the body of Christ; it is a judgement of the living nations. Let’s us go and have a look at what the Word has to say.

Then they will go away into eternal punishment, but those who are just and upright and in right standing with God into eternal life.

This scripture is referring to the Second Advent, that is when Jesus returns and sets up shop in Jerusalem, this is after the tribulation period. The living nations are to be judged, this has nothing to do with the body of Christ, it’s after the judgement seat of Christ.

Joel.3:1-3. (Amp) For behold, in those days and at that time when I shall reverse the captivity and restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all nations and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and there will I deal with and execute judgment upon them for [their treatment of] My people and of My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations and [because] they have divided My land.

(Mess) “In those days, yes, at that very time when I put life back together again for Judah and Jerusalem, I’ll assemble all the godless nations. I’ll lead them down into Judgment Valley and put them all on trial, and judge them one and all because of their treatment of my own people Israel. They scattered my people all over the pagan world and grabbed my land for themselves.

  • The subjects of this judgement are the gentile nations.

Matt.25:32. (Amp) All nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them [the people] from one another as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats.

The time of this judgement will be at the second coming of Christ before the millennium. [Matt.25:31-46].

Please take some time to meditate on the above passage as there are so many of God’s people who don’t know whether they are sheep or goat’s, or maybe goat’s in sheep clothing? If you give the above passage a bit of thought I’m sure you will realize that you are neither, you are the Body of Christ.

Time for me to say “till next time” when we will continue with this subject by studying the place and the basis for this judgement, in the meantime be blessed, be happy and don’t forget to share His Word and His love all around.

If you have not yet made Jesus the Lord of your life then make that your top priority to-day, all you have to do is pray the following prayer from your heart and receive you salvation by faith:

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

If you have prayed the above prayer then go and study the Eternal Life document for a greater understanding of what you have been given by God your Father.

Hi and welcome to “Abound in Grace” for the conclusion of “The judgement seat of Christ”. To-day we will be discussing the basis and result of this judgment. By now we should know the definition to judgement which is: To examine, study, evaluate and uncover in order to arrive at a verdict as to whether a reward or condemnation is deserved. It depends on the result of the investigation. Let us begin.

  • The basis for this judgement is the works of the believer both good and bad.

These are not works that are performed by a believer trying to gain salvation, such as the works of the law, but are the works upon which a believer is encouraged to build his foundation. The question is “what have you done with the ministry the Lord has given you and how have you conducted your life in the light of the Word”?

1Cor.3:11-15. (Amp) For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already] laid, which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). But if anyone builds upon the Foundation, whether it be with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, the work of each [one] will become [plainly, openly] known (shown for what it is); for the day [of Christ] will disclose and declare it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test and critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has done. If the work which any person has built on this Foundation [any product of his efforts whatever] survives [this test], he will get his reward. But if any person’s work is burned up [under the test], he will suffer the loss [of it all, losing his reward], though he himself will be saved, but only as [one who has passed] through fire.

(Mess) Remember, there is only one foundation, the one already laid: Jesus Christ. Take particular care in picking out your building materials. Eventually there is going to be an inspection. If you use cheap or inferior materials, you’ll be found out. The inspection will be thorough and rigorous. You won’t get by with a thing. If your work passes inspection, fine; if it doesn’t, your part of the building will be torn out and started over. But you won’t be torn out; you’ll survive, but just barely.

2Cor.5:10. (Amp) For we must all appear and be revealed as we are before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive [his pay] according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil [considering what his purpose and motive have been, and what he has achieved, been busy with, and given himself and his attention to accomplishing].

Matt.16:27. (Amp) For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory (majesty, splendour) of His Father with His angels, and then He will render account and reward every man in accordance with what he has done.

Rom.2:6. (Amp) For He will render to every man according to his works [justly, as his deeds deserve].

Here is a bit of homework for you my dear friends, rejoice, there won’t be a test on it. Lol.

Rom.14. (Read the whole chapter).

Col.3. (Read the whole chapter).

The result of this judgement will be rewards or loss of rewards but never the loss of one’s salvation for any wrongdoing, properly confessed and forgiven.

1John.1:9. (Amp) If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].

1Cor.3:11-15. (KJV) For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

  • This judgement takes place in Heaven.

1Cor.9:24-27. (Mess) You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally. I don’t know about you, but I’m running hard for the finish line. I’m giving it everything I’ve got. No sloppy living for me! I’m staying alert and in top condition. I’m not going to get caught napping, telling everyone else all about it and then missing out myself.

That is all I have so I’ll say cheerio for now and have a wonderful weekend, filled with love, joy and peace in the Holy Ghost. Don’t forget to share the Word and spread the love all around.

Welcome and thanks for joining me once again at “Abound in Grace”. To-day we will have a look at what the judgement seat of Christ is. Remember the dictionary defines judgment as: To examine, study, evaluate and uncover in order to arrive at a verdict as to whether a reward or condemnation is deserved. It depends on the result of the investigation. In Greek the word “bema” is used, and it refers to a podium, the same as athletes stand on to receive their trophies. You know what it looks like 1st place higher up and in the middle, 2nd place stands to the right of #1 and 3rd place to the left. It is at this judgement believers will receive reward for their faithfulness to the Lord. For all that has been contrary in their lives to His will they will suffer loss. Let us now begin our study:

  • The judgment of believer’s works.

Rom.14:10. (Amp) Why do you criticize and pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you look down upon or despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God.

The Word says we are not to criticize and pass judgement on others, we are to judge situations to arrive at a verdict but we never pass judgment on persons. In the case of salvation I would have to arrive at a verdict as to whether the person I am ministering to is saved or not, that is judgement, but not to condemn or ridicule but rather to lead the person to salvation. At the judgement seat of Christ our critical and condescending ways aren’t going to improve our position there one bit.

2Cor.5:10-11. (Amp) For we must all appear and be revealed as we are before the judgment seat of Christ (the bema), so that each one may receive [his pay] according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil [considering what his purpose and motive have been, and what he has achieved, been busy with, and given himself and his attention to accomplishing]. Therefore, being conscious of fearing the Lord with respect and reverence, we seek to win people over [to persuade them]. But what sort of persons we are is plainly recognized and thoroughly understood by God, and I hope that it is plainly recognized and thoroughly understood also by your consciences (your inborn discernment).

Please note that whatever the outcome of this judgement, the person could suffer a loss of rewards but never lose his salvation. If a person has never done anything worthwhile in the Kingdom he will still be saved by the skin of his teeth. Now just to go to heaven will be something fantastic, but how much better to hear the Lord say “well done good and faithful son”?

  • The subjects of this judgement are believers.

Gal.6:7-8. (Mess) Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person, who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others, ignoring God, harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.

Eph.6:8. (KJV) Knowing that for whatever good anyone does, he will receive his reward from the Lord, whether he is slave or free.

(Mess) Good work will get you good pay from the Master, regardless of whether you are slave or free.

Col.3:24. (Amp) Knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [and not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [real] reward. [The One Whom] you are actually serving [is] the Lord Christ (the Messiah).

  • The time of this judgement will be between the rapture and the Second Advent.

Luke.14:14. (Amp) Then you will be blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied), because they have no way of repaying you, and you will be recompensed at the resurrection of the just (upright).

(Mess) You’ll be, and experience, a blessing. They won’t be able to return the favour, but the favour will be returned–oh, how it will be returned! At the resurrection of God’s people.”

That is all I have for now folk’s so please join me once again to-morrow when we will conclude this study, in the meantime have a really lovely day and don’t forget to be a blessing to all you come into contact with, share the word, spread the love, as it is in giving that you will receive. May your day be filled with, love, joy and peace in the Holy Ghost.

If you have never received the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour then I would like to give you an opportunity to become a son or daughter of the Most High God to-day, all you can do to be accepted by the Father is to receive by faith the sacrifice of His Son for you by praying the following prayer from your heart and receiving eternal life by faith in the promise of the Father: “Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Amen.”

Welcome to “Abound in Grace” as we continue our study of the foundation doctrines of Christ. To-day we will discuss the judgement of the angles that rebelled against God. Once again this judgement does not affect the Christian in anyway, yet it is in the Word so let’s have a look at it.

2Pet.2:24. (Amp) For God did not [even] spare angels that sinned, but cast them into hell, delivering them to be kept there in pits of gloom till the judgment and their doom.

(Mess) God didn’t let the rebel angels off the hook, but jailed them in hell till Judgment Day.

Jude.6. (Amp) And angels who did not keep (care for, guard, and hold to) their own first place of power but abandoned their proper dwelling place–these He has reserved in custody in eternal chains (bonds) under the thick gloom of utter darkness until the judgment and doom of the great day.

  • Subject. – Fallen angels.

Rev.12:7-12. (Amp) Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels went forth to battle with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought. But they were defeated, and there was no room found for them in heaven any longer. And the huge dragon was cast down and out–that age-old serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, he who is the seducer (deceiver) of all humanity the world over; he was forced out and down to the earth, and his angels were flung out along with him. Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come–the salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out! And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing]. Therefore be glad (exult), O heavens and you that dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in fierce anger (fury), because he knows that he has [only] a short time [left]!

1Cor.6:3. (Amp) Do you not know also that we [Christians] are to judge the [very] angels and pronounce opinion between right and wrong [for them]? How much more then [as to] matters pertaining to this world and of this life only!

  • Time. – At the Great White Throne judgment of the Millennium.

  • Basis. – Obedience to God.

2Pet.2:4. (Amp) For God did not [even] spare angels that sinned, but cast them into hell, delivering them to be kept there in pits of gloom till the judgment and their doom.

Jude 6-7. (Amp) And angels who did not keep (care for, guard, and hold to) their own first place of power but abandoned their proper dwelling place–these He has reserved in custody in eternal chains (bonds) under the thick gloom of utter darkness until the judgment and doom of the great day.

Ez.28:11-17. (KJV) Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tablets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground; I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

The above is a description of Lucifer the anointed angel-cherub before iniquity was found in him, he was full pride and he became corrupt and he was driven out of heaven with a third of the angles that rebelled with him.

  • Result. – Eternal damnation in the lake of fire.

Rev.20:10. (Amp) Then the devil who had led them astray [deceiving and seducing them] was hurled into the fiery lake of burning brimstone, where the beast and false prophet were; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever (through the ages of the ages).

Matt.25:41. (Amp) Then He will say to those at His left hand, Begone from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels!

This is not a study on the devil or angels, all I wanted to do is establish the fact that there is going to be a judgement of the Satan and all the angels that followed him. Have a blessed day till next time. To-morrow we will delve into ” The believer’s judgement at the ‘bema’ seat of Christ.

Amen.”

Hi, welcome to “Abound in Grace”. To-day we will conclude our study on the judgement of Israel by discussing the basis for and result of this judgement. Remember the dictionary defines judgment as: To examine, study, evaluate and uncover in order to arrive at a verdict as to whether a reward or condemnation is deserved. It depends on the result of the investigation. Judgement is not always negative and we must keep in mind that Israel was cut off so that we Gentile’s could be grafted in.

Rom.10:1. (Amp) Brethren, [with all] my heart’s desire and goodwill for [Israel], I long and pray to God that they may be saved.

Rom.11:23. (Amp) And even those others [the fallen branches, Jews], if they do not persist in [clinging to] their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again.

Rom.11:26. (Amp) And so all Israel will be saved. As it is written, The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will banish ungodliness from Jacob.

Pray for Israel my friend’s, God will bless those who bless Israel. Now let’s look at the basis for this judgement.

  • The basis for this judgement is obedience to God and His Word.

James.1:22-25. (KJV) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

  • The result of this judgement is the conversion of Israel as a nation at the Second Advent.

Ish.1:27. (Amp) Zion shall be redeemed with justice and her [returned] converts with righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God).

(Mess) GOD’s right ways will put Zion right again. GOD’s right actions will restore her penitents.

Ezek.22:19-22. (Amp) Therefore thus says the Lord God: Because you have all become scum and waste matter, behold therefore, I will gather you [O Israel] into the midst of Jerusalem. As they gather silver and bronze and iron and lead and tin into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it in order to melt it, so will I gather you in My anger and in My wrath, and I will put you in and melt you. Yes, I will gather you and blow upon you with the fire of My wrath, and you shall be melted in the midst of it. As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall you be melted in the midst of it, and you shall know, understand, and realize that I the Lord have poured out My wrath upon you [O Israel].

Ezekiel prophesies a coming judgement for Israel, the Word tells us that at the judgement seat of Christ all Christian’s works will be judged by fire and the dross will be burned and only the silver and gold will remain. So too Israel will be judged according to the Word.

Zech.12:10-13. (Amp) And I will pour out upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace or unmerited favour and supplication. And they shall look [earnestly] upon Me Whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him as one who is in bitterness for his firstborn. In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of [the city of] Hadadrimmon in the Valley of Megiddo [over beloved King Josiah]. And the land shall mourn, every family apart: the [kingly] family of the house of David apart and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan [David's son] apart and their wives apart; the [priestly] family of the house of Levi apart and their wives apart; the family of Shimei [grandson of Levi] apart and their wives apart.

Israel will eventually see Jesus for who He is and repent and receive Him as their Messiah.

Matt.23:37-39. (Amp) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, murdering the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a mother fowl gathers her brood under her wings, and you refused! Behold, your house is forsaken and desolate (abandoned and left destitute of God’s help). For I declare to you, you will not see Me again until you say, Blessed (magnified in worship, adored, and exalted) is He Who comes in the name of the Lord!

Rom.11:25-29. (Amp) Lest you be self-opinionated (wise in your own conceits), I do not want you to miss this hidden truth and mystery, brethren: a hardening (insensibility) has [temporarily] befallen a part of Israel [to last] until the full number of the ingathering of the Gentiles has come in, and so all Israel will be saved. As it is written, The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will banish ungodliness from Jacob. And this will be My covenant (My agreement) with them when I shall take away their sins. From the point of view of the Gospel (good news), they [the Jews, at present] are enemies [of God], which is for your advantage and benefit. But from the point of view of God’s choice (of election, of divine selection), they are still the beloved (dear to Him) for the sake of their forefathers. For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.]

(Mess) I want to lay all this out on the table as clearly as I can, friends. This is complicated. It would be easy to misinterpret what’s going on and arrogantly assume that you’re royalty and they’re just rabble, out on their ears for good. But that’s not it at all. This hardness on the part of insider Israel toward God is temporary. Its effect is to open things up to all the outsiders so that we end up with a full house. Before it’s all over, there will be a complete Israel. As it is written, A champion will stride down from the mountain of Zion; he’ll clean house in Jacob. And this is my commitment to my people: removal of their sins. From your point of view as you hear and embrace the good news of the Message, it looks like the Jews are God’s enemies. But looked at from the long-range perspective of God’s overall purpose, they remain God’s oldest friends. God’s gifts and God’s call are under full warranty–never cancelled, never rescinded.

Well my dear friends it is time for me to say “till next time” when we will briefly study the judgement of the angles for their rebellion against God. Have a blessed day, prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. Share His Word and spread His love all over the earth.
