Welcome and thank you for joining me once more at “Abounding Grace”. To-day we continue with our study of the foundation doctrines of Christ as we discuss the place and the basis of the judgement of the wicked dead. We have already established the facts that this judgement is a judgement of the wicked dead and that the believer does not take part in this judgement. We also know from the Word that this judgement will take place at the end of the Millennium. We have also discussed the fact that it is not God’s will for any man to perish and the only reason a man will be judged at this judgement is because He rejected the Word of life by his own free will. Man chooses his own destiny, remember the Father lay’s before every man life or death it is the man privilege to choose, God will accept whatever choice the man makes.
The place of this judgement is in heaven at the great white throne.
Rev.20:11. (Amp) Then I saw a great white throne and the One Who was seated upon it, from Whose presence and from the sight of Whose face earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.
Ps.9:7-8. (Amp) But the Lord shall remain and continue forever; He has prepared and established His throne for judgment. And He will judge the world in righteousness (rightness and equity); He will minister justice to the peoples in uprightness.
The throne is literal and white indicates absolute righteousness and justice of the judgment.
Ps.45:6-7. (Amp) Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Your kingdom. You love righteousness, uprightness, and right standing with God and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows.
Last time we discussed the books, remember, every person’s name is recorded in the book of the living, every person’s deeds, motives, word’s, are recorded, every time a person hears the message the gospel and rejects it is recorded in a book. It is by these records that the wicked dead will be judged.
That brings us to the basis for this judgement:
The law of conscience:
Rom.2:12-16. (Amp) All who have sinned without the Law will also perish without [regard to] the Law and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged and condemned by the Law. For it is not merely hearing the Law [read] that makes one righteous before God, but it is the doers of the Law who will be held guiltless and acquitted and justified. When Gentiles who have not the [divine] Law do instinctively what the Law requires, they are a law to themselves, since they do not have the Law. They show that the essential requirements of the Law are written in their hearts and are operating there, with which their consciences (sense of right and wrong) also bear witness; and their [moral] decisions (their arguments of reason, their condemning or approving thoughts) will accuse or perhaps defend and excuse [them] on that day when, as my Gospel proclaims, God by Jesus Christ will judge men in regard to the things which they conceal (their hidden thoughts).
The law of memory:
Luke.16:25. (Amp) But Abraham said, Child, remember that you in your lifetime fully received [what is due you in] comforts and delights, and Lazarus in like manner the discomforts and distresses; but now he is comforted here and you are in anguish.
An interesting observation here, read the full account in your own Bible, remember the rich man died and was buried; Lazarus died and was carried to Abraham’s bosom also known as paradise. Note that after physical dead a person is still able to remember.
I would venture to say that every nation on this planet has had the gospel preached to it at some time or other, have you ever noticed how all religions have something to say about Jesus, if you think of Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism to name but a few, all openly reject Jesus as the Son of God and choose their own way to please God. If my memory serves we well, and I know it does as I have the mind of Christ, it is written that the end won’t come until the gospel has been preached to every nation.
Matt.24:14. (KJV) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
I believe that has been done, the nations have chosen to reject it.
The Law of Moses:
Rom.2:12-16. (Amp) All who have sinned without the Law will also perish without [regard to] the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged and condemned by the Law.
In closing I would like to say that there is no person on the face of the earth that could possibly pass one of these examinations that we are discussing, remember what the word judgement means: To examine, study, evaluate and uncover in order to arrive at a verdict as to whether a reward or condemnation is deserved. It depends on the result of the investigation. Take any of the above mentioned religions, a Muslim for instance will be judged according to the Koran, if he broke one law he will be guilty of breaking all the laws in that book, without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness for sin, if there is no forgiveness there can only be punishment for the broken law. The reason for Jesus’ coming was to shed His blood for mankind as God’s sacrificed lamb, and to impart eternal life, God life into the real you, into the spirit man and have your name recorded in the Lamb’s book of life.
We can now understand why it is so important that you make Jesus the Lord of your life, so that through Him we can escape this coming judgement, I implore you by the mercies of God that you accept the life that God the Father is offering you to-day by accepting Jesus into your life, all you have to do is pray the following prayer from your heart and by faith receive the promise of the Father which is ‘all who call upon His name shall be saved”. Have a day filled with joy and laughter, and don’t forget to share the Word of His grace, spread the fragrance of His love everywhere you go. Love ya.
“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
