Welcome to Abound in Grace as we continue our study of eternal judgement, we are studying the basis for eternal judgement and so far we have established that the Word of God will be the basis for eternal judgement, we saw that we are accountable to the Word and that Jesus and the Word are one, He is the sin offering and if people treat the blood of Jesus lightly and have no regard for the price God paid to forgive their sins, they insult the Spirit of grace. We also discussed the fact that unbelief is the doorway to defeat. To-day we continue with the new birth, the door way into the Kingdom of God.

John.3:3. (Amp) Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.

The new birth is the basis for pardon from eternal punishment and entrance into eternal life. Man must be born again by the Word and the Holy Spirit.

John.3:5-6. (Amp) Jesus answered, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, unless a man is born of water and [even] the Spirit, he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God. What is born of [from] the flesh is flesh [of the physical is physical]; and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.

In our study of ‘Baptisms’ we established the fact that when the Word is speaking of being born of water that it is referring to being born of the Word, the Word and water are synonymous terms.

1Pet.1:21-23. (Amp) Through Him you believe in (adhere to, rely on) God, Who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him honour and glory, so that your faith and hope are [centred and rest] in God. Since by your obedience to the Truth through the [Holy] Spirit you have purified your hearts for the sincere affection of the brethren, [see that you] love one another fervently from a pure heart. You have been regenerated (born again), not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from one that is immortal by the ever living and lasting Word of God.

Eph.5:26. (Amp) So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word.

At the new birth a person is judged, remember what to judge means, the dictionary defines judgment as: To examine, study, evaluate and uncover in order to arrive at a verdict as to whether a reward or condemnation is deserved. It depends on the result of the investigation. The heavenly Father did an investigation into your life, he examined you in the light of His Word, Jesus, and arrived at the verdict of not guilty and rewarded you with eternal life, the result of the investigation was that you are now a new species of being, one that never existed before and He accepted you as His very own child. You are now a son of God and a joint heir with Jesus to the vast resources that belong to those born of God.

At one time you were darkness, a child of Satan but now you light in the Lord, so walk as a child of the light, we will carry on with this thought to-morrow, have a blessed day and share the Word you have and the love that is in you by the Holy Spirit with all you come into contact with this day.

If you are not yet a part of the Kingdom of God through the new birth then all you have to do is pray the following prayer from your heart and make Jesus the Lord of your life:

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
