Eternal Life 23: The new creation is not a slave but a son;

Gal.4:6-7. (Amp) And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father! Therefore, you are no longer a slave (bond servant) but a son; and if a son, then [it follows that you are] an heir by the aid of God, through Christ.

The new creation takes a sons place in the Father’s heart and lives as a son of God among men. We are ambassadors on behalf of Christ.

2Cor.5:17-21. (Amp) Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away, behold, the fresh and new has come! But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favour, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him]. It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favour with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favour). So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ's personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favour [now offered you] and be reconciled to God. For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].

We are representatives of the new race of man.

1John.5:13. (Amp) I write this to you who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) the name of the Son of God [in the peculiar services and blessings conferred by Him on men], so that you may know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have life, yes, eternal life.

(Mess) My purpose in writing is simply this: that you who believe in God’s Son will know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you have eternal life, the reality and not the illusion.

We must let this become a reality in our hearts. We have the very nature and life of God in us. The knowledge of this will bring quietness, a sense of oneness with God. We are one with him as the branch is one with the vine. The sap of the vine is in the branch, God’s life and nature flows into us.

We are linked with God, identified with God. Healing, strength, success and victory are all a part of this new creation life.

If any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away, behold, the fresh and new has come! This is available for all men, if you are not a part of the family of God then all you need to do is accept the sacrifice that God put forth for you and receive Jesus into you heart by praying the following prayer.

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Once you have prayed this prayer and received the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour then you know without a shadow of a doubt that you have eternal life.

Eternal Life 22: Jesus is Lord of the new creation;

We have already discussed the fact that in the new birth we have been delivered out of darkness (or Satan’s kingdom into the kingdom of light, the kingdom of the Son of His love.

Col.1:13. (Amp) [The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.

In Christ Jesus we have been redeemed.

The word used in the Greek for redemption is the word “apolutrosis” and it means: a releasing on the payment of ransom; something to loosen with; a redemptive price.

Redemption is the deliverance of sinners from the bondage of sin and the penalties of God’s violated law.

Ps.111:9. (Amp) He has sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant to be forever; holy is His name, inspiring awe, reverence, and godly fear.

(Mess) He paid the ransom for his people, He ordered his Covenant kept forever. He’s so personal and holy, worthy of our respect.

Col.1:14. (Amp) In Whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the forgiveness of our sins.

1Cor.1:30. (Amp) But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin].

We understand that Christ has been made unto us: wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. Our redemption means the breaking of Satan’s dominion over us and our redemption is what made the new creation possible.

The new creation is under the Lordship of Jesus.

Col.1:18. (Amp) He also is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in everything and in every respect might occupy the chief place [stand first and be preeminent].

Jesus is Lord of the new creation, He is the supplier of every need, He is the protector, and He is the shepherd Lord. We need to meditate upon this truth until it burns in our very being so when sickness lays hold of our bodies, we say with certainty: “Disease cannot touch the temple of the Holy Spirit. My body is the temple of God, God lives in the new creation”. Disease cannot reign over Jesus’ body; this body belongs to the Lord. I am the custodian of this body and I refuse disease in this body to dishonour the indwelling presence of my Lord. We must become New Creation Conscious.

Before we were sin-conscious, failure-conscious, now we became God-conscious, son-conscious. We have the strength of God in us; the life of God, the very substance and being of God has become part of our spirits. We have the right to associate and fellowship with the Father on terms of utter equality because Jesus is our righteousness and we, by the new creation, have become the righteousness of God in Christ. The new creation should never be under condemnation, if sin comes, we should confess it, put it away, and walk on with Him. We have an advocate, Jesus Christ, and the righteous.

1John.2:1.  (Amp) My little children, I write you these things so that you may not violate God’s law and sin. But if anyone should sin, we have an Advocate (One Who will intercede for us) with the Father–[it is] Jesus Christ [the all] righteous [upright, just, Who conforms to the Father's will in every purpose, thought, and action].

(Mess) I write this, dear children, to guide you out of sin. But if anyone does sin, we have a Priest-Friend in the presence of the Father: Jesus Christ, righteous Jesus.

1John.1:9. (Amp) If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].

This leaves us in the Father’s presence as clean and as pure as though we had never sinned. What an awesome and comforting place to be; in the family of God, if you are not sure of your standing in God and would like to know without a shadow of a doubt that you are a child of God and a partaker of all these benefits then all you have to do is ask Jesus to come into your heart by praying the following prayer.

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Thank you so much for joining me today in this meditation in the Word and I pray that this Word becomes a living Word in your heart, that God the Father gives you a revelation of who you actually are in the Son of His love.

Eternal Life 21: The effects and results of righteousness;

Ish.32:17. (Amp) And the effect of righteousness will be peace [internal and external], and the result of righteousness will be quietness and confident trust forever.

(Mess) And where there’s Right, there’ll be peace and the progeny of right: quiet lives and endless trust.

The effect of righteousness will be peace, internal and external. The word peace used is the word “shalom” and the meaning of this word is security, stability and prosperity. The word for peace in the New Testament means the same thing so when Jesus said:

John.14:27. (Amp) Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

(Mess) I’m leaving you well and whole. That’s my parting gift to you. Peace. I don’t leave you the way you’re used to being left–feeling abandoned, bereft. So don’t be upset. Don’t be distraught.

He was saying my stability, security and prosperity I am leaving with you, if you are a disciple of Christ then the effect of righteousness on you must be stability, security and prosperity. God the Father has given us success and victory in every endeavour of life and we become a sweet fragrance of His knowledge everywhere.

2Cor.2:14-15. (Amp) But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ's victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere, for we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which exhales] unto God, [discernible alike] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

The result of righteousness will be quietness and confident trust forever. As children of the Most High God we know that we have this peace with our Father and we have boldness in our approach to Him

Hebr.4:16. (Amp) Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favour to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].

We come boldly, not squirming or as unworthy nothings, but as His family to find mercy for our wrong doings, we can also find grace to help in good time for every need. The help comes just when you need it.

This righteousness has come upon all men, it is freely available to every man, woman and child on this planet.

Rom.5:18. (Amp) Well then, as one man’s trespass [one man's false step and falling away led] to condemnation for all men, so one Man’s act of righteousness [leads] to acquittal and right standing with God and life for all men.

Although righteousness has come upon all men it has not gone into all men, you see this righteousness must be submitted to.

Rom.10:1-4. (Amp) Brethren, [with all] my heart’s desire and goodwill for [Israel], I long and pray to God that they may be saved. I bear them witness that they have a [certain] zeal and enthusiasm for God, but it is not enlightened and according to [correct and vital] knowledge. For being ignorant of the righteousness that God ascribes [which makes one acceptable to Him in word, thought, and deed] and seeking to establish a righteousness (a means of salvation) of their own, they did not obey or submit themselves to God’s righteousness. For Christ is the end of the Law [the limit at which it ceases to be, for the Law leads up to Him Who is the fulfilment of its types, and in Him the purpose which it was designed to accomplish is fulfilled. That is, the purpose of the Law is fulfilled in Him] as the means of righteousness (right relationship to God) for everyone who trusts in and adheres to and relies on Him.

Gal.3:11. (Amp) Now it is evident that no person is justified (declared righteous and brought into right standing with God) through the Law, for the Scripture says, The man in right standing with God [the just, the righteous] shall live by and out of faith and he who through and by faith is declared righteous and in right standing with God shall live.

Right standing with God comes only through submitting oneself to what God has to say in His Word, and then acting on the written Word of God, that is called exercising faith.

Rom.1:16-17. (Amp) For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God’s power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek, for in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith.

The Gospel is a revelation of righteousness. The Gospel is the power of God working salvation to all who believe. In the Gospel a righteousness that God ascribes is revealed and the righteousness of God is given to all who believe, it comes by faith.

You can receive this righteousness of God simply by praying the following prayer.

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Eternal Life 20: Established in righteousness continued;

Yesterday we started our discussion on becoming established in righteousness, we as God’s family need to be rooted and grounded in the fact that God accepts us as free from sin. We must also understand that it is not by any kind of works or good deeds that we are in this state of righteousness, we are righteousness because our Father God has made us righteous. This state of righteousness must become a reality in our lives it must become part of our consciousness otherwise our walk with God will be hindered, we will become yo-yo Christians up one day in heavenly places and down the next in the valley of despair.

Rom.3:21-26. (Amp) But now the righteousness of God has been revealed independently and altogether apart from the Law, although actually it is attested by the Law and the Prophets, namely, the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [And it is meant] for all who believe. For there is no distinction, since all have sinned and are falling short of the honour and glory which God bestows and receives. [All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favour and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus, Whom God put forward [before the eyes of all] as a mercy-seat and propitiation by His blood [the cleansing and life-giving sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation, to be received] through faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over and ignored former sins without punishment. It was to demonstrate and prove at the present time (in the now season) that He Himself is righteous and that He justifies and accepts as righteous him who has [true] faith in Jesus.

(Mess) But in our time something new has been added. What Moses and the prophets witnessed to all those years has happened. The God-setting-things-right that we read about has become Jesus–setting-things-right for us. And not only for us, but for everyone who believes in him. For there is no difference between us and them in this. Since we’ve compiled this long and sorry record as sinners (both us and them) and proved that we are utterly incapable of living the glorious lives God wills for us, God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we’re in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. God sacrificed Jesus on the altar of the world to clear that world of sin. Having faith in him sets us in the clear. God decided on this course of action in full view of the public–to set the world in the clear with himself through the sacrifice of Jesus, finally taking care of the sins he had so patiently endured. This is not only clear, but it’s now, this is current history! God sets things right. He also makes it possible for us to live in his rightness.

I am now going to put this in the first person as pertaining to me, you need to do the same and accept what the Father has done for you.

My righteousness, (standing before God just as I have never sinned) comes as a pure gift to me from God because I have received Jesus as my Lord and saviour; it is revealed separately from the law, or from any religious acts or good deeds that I could possibly perform. Even though I had fallen short of the glory of God, and was constituted a sinner, I have been made upright and am in right standing with God purely by His grace, through the redemption which has been provided for me in Christ Jesus. God put Jesus forward as a sacrifice for my sin, Jesus went in my place and I receive by faith what He has done for me, I now have eternal life (God life). Jesus sacrifice was a life-giving sacrifice that reconciled me to God my Father and God has now become my righteousness, I have become as righteous as God is righteous and His nature and life has been imparted to me by my accepting Jesus’ sacrifice for me.

You can now understand

2Cor.5:17. (Amp) Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

The old selfish, devilish nature has gone; God has replaced it with His own nature. His love nature.

Rom.5:5. (Amp) Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.

If you are trusting in what Jesus did for you, you now posses eternal life or the nature of God and the life of God.

John.6:47. (Amp) I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, relies on, and has faith in Me] has (now possesses) eternal life.

This means that you can stand in the presence of Satan and all his works with the same fearless grace that Jesus had and you can stand in the presence of God, just as Jesus did, without any sense of inferiority or condemnation.

Well my dear friends I believe that you have enough to meditate on for one day, please, I beseech you by the mercies of God to ponder yesterday’s, today’s and tomorrow’s studies, this is so important for your walk with God.

If you have never made Jesus your personal Lord and saviour then that would the most important thing that you would ever do in you life, you need to receive eternal life right now, the scripture say’s today is the day of salvation, if you hear His voice do not harden your heart but yield to His call by saying the following prayer and receiving by faith the pure gift of God.

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Eternal Life 19: Established in righteousness;

Last time we ended our discussion with me saying that you must make this your confession: “I have taken Jesus as my Saviour, I have confessed Jesus as my Lord, God has taken me to be His child and has given me His righteousness and eternal life.”

2Cor.5:21. (KJV) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

(Amp) For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].

(Mess) How? You say. In Christ. God put the wrong on him who never did anything wrong, so we could be put right with God.

The Word say’s that God made Jesus to be sin, He made Jesus sin, Who knew no sin, so that in Jesus and through Him we can be made the righteousness of God.

This was the great exchange; Jesus was made sin with our sin, so that we could be made righteous with His righteousness.

The word righteousness means: to be accepted by God as free from sin.

Ish.54:14. (KJV) In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

(Amp) You shall establish yourself in righteousness (rightness, in conformity with God’s will and order): you shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you.

(Mess) You’ll be built solid, grounded in righteousness, far from any trouble, nothing to fear! Far from terror, it won’t even come close!

We as the children of God need to be established in righteousness.

The word “establish” means: To make stable or firm; to be fixed in, to be planted or rooted in.

We can safely deduct that what the Holy Spirit is saying through Isaiah is that we are to be rooted in righteousness; you see my friends if you are rooted and grounded in righteousness you will be far from the thought of sin and you won’t be plagued with a sin consciousness. You will be righteousness conscious,  Just look at the progression in Ish.54:14:

You shall establish yourself in righteousness, in conformity to God’s will and order. You do this by accepting the sacrifice God Himself made for you in Christ Jesus.

2Cor.5:19. (Amp) It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favour with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favour).

Once you are established in God’s will and order you shall not fear.

1John.4:18. (Amp) There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love's complete perfection].

God is love, please understand that God does not have love, He is love. In Christ Jesus you are now loved by God the Father just as much as Jesus is loved by the Father.

When there is no fear there is no thought of oppression or destruction.

Ps.91:9-11 (Amp) Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, there shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].

Once you are established in righteousness your thoughts will be God’s thoughts; terror nor even the thought of terror will come near you.

Thank you once again by dear friends for joining me today in this study of the Word and I trust it has helped you in some way and I pray for each and everyone of you who are joining me in this study “that God the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ gives to you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, that you may receive that inner illumination of the spirit, that you may know the magnificence and splendour of the inheritance promised to you as a Christian   in Jesus name.”

Jesus said that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved; you fit into the category of a whosoever. The Word say’s “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

If the Spirit of God is prompting you right now, all you have to do, to receive this free gift of God, is bow your head and pray the following prayer from your heart and then receive the promise of God into your heart and you will be saved, this is not a maybe or a might, but a will be. God wills this for each and every person who would dare to believe Him and take Him at his Word.

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

If you have prayed this prayer then know this; you are now a child of God, you have passed out of the control of the devil and you have been translated in the kingdom of the Son of His love, you are now just as righteous as God is righteous, as He has made you the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Eternal Life 18: The new creation;

John.5:24. (Amp) I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believes and trusts in and clings to and relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) eternal life. And he does not come into judgment [does not incur sentence of judgment, will not come under condemnation], but he has already passed over out of death into life.

(Mess) “It’s urgent that you listen carefully to this: Anyone here who believes what I am saying right now and aligns himself with the Father, who has in fact put me in charge, has at this very moment the real, lasting life and is no longer condemned to be an outsider. This person has taken a giant step from the world of the dead to the world of the living.

The one, whom receives eternal life, passes out of the realm of death (Satan’s dominion and realm) into the realm of life. There is no judgement for the man who passes out of Satan’s realm into God’s realm. Please take note that there is no judgement for a child of God as God has already judge him in Christ. Being born again is an actual birth out of Satan’s family into God’s family.

But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favour, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him].

When a man accepts Jesus as his Saviour and confesses Him as Lord, God breathes eternal life into him and that drives out the satanic nature and makes him a new creation.

  • With the New Creation comes a new mode of life:

1John.3:14-15. (Amp) We know that we have passed over out of death into Life by the fact that we love the brethren (our fellow Christians). He who does not love abides (remains, is held and kept continually) in [spiritual] death. Anyone who hates (abominates, detests) his brother [in Christ] is [at heart] a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding (persevering) within him.

1John.4:8. (Amp) He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love.

Rom.5:5. (Amp) Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.

Now if you are a Christian and you say I am struggling to love some people so I am still abiding in spiritual death, go back and meditate 2Cor.5:17-18 and remember that God’s love is in your heart, put there by the Holy Spirit, all you need to do is make a decision to start to love, love that person or persons by faith, soon you will find that the love of God is loving the person through you. Start to pray for the person.

The new life that comes into us is God’s life. God is love, so it is a new love that has come into our lives. Christianity is not a religion, it is not joining a church, and it is not having your sins forgiven. It is receiving the nature of God – eternal life.

Make this your confession: “I have taken Jesus as my Saviour, I have confessed Jesus as my Lord, God has taken me to be His child and has given me His righteousness and eternal life”.

Thanks my friends for joining me today in this study on the new creation and I trust that you have been blessed, I know I have by being able to share this with you. If you want to receive the eternal life that God is offering you all you have to do is bow your head and pray the following prayer from your heart and receive this eternal life by faith in God’s promise.

Eternal Life 17: The need for eternal life;

John.10:10.  (Amp) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

(Mess) A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.

The very reason for Jesus’ coming is so that we can have eternal life and yet the church has not majored on this truth.

In the Greek there are a number of words translated life, we will deal with two of these words:

Zoë: Eternal life or life as God has life, the God kind of life.

Psuché: Natural Life, self-life or soul life.

We know that when Adam sinned, he became a partaker of the satanic nature, which is spiritual death or separation from God. Adam took on the nature of the devil. He was created with God’s nature, but by making a pact with the devil it cost him the God nature and he actually took on the satanic nature, he became a child of the devil.

Eph.2:1. (Amp) And you [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins.

There is not a single person reading this note today that can say to me that physically he has been made alive. The scripture says you and I were slain by our trespasses and sin. The sin that brought about death was the sin Adam committed when he rejected God and accepted Satan’ deal. It was actually an act of treason against the rule of God.

This nature is the cause of all the sin, misery and sickness of the human race. It has given to man an inferiority complex, a sense of unworthiness, and a sense of sin. It has given him hatred, jealousy and bitterness. All the crimes and miseries of the world are a result of this nature that man possesses. The reason that man cannot stand right with God is that his nature is at enmity against God.

Rom.8:7. (Amp) [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot.

The carnal mind, the human nature with its inclinations and purposes is hostile or has ill will, is full of venom against God for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be.

This nature must be taken out of man and a new nature must be given him. Christianity today is not the Christianity of the Pauline epistles that is why there is so much said about sin and repentance, but so little is said about eternal life. Now, if it were possible for God to forgive a sinner his sins, it would do him no good. He would go on sinning. The sinner must have his nature changed, he must be recreated and that can only be accomplished by imparting to him a new nature.

2Pet.1:4. (Amp) By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become sharers (partakers) of the divine nature.

The corruption that is in the world is a product of spiritual death and we can only escape it by receiving this new nature.

John.3:16. (Amp) For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

John.20:30-31. (Amp) There are also many other signs and miracles which Jesus performed in the presence of the disciples which are not written in this book. But these are written (recorded) in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ (the Anointed One), the Son of God, and that through believing and cleaving to and trusting and relying upon Him you may have life through (in) His name [through Who He is].

John.1:4. (Amp) In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.

We can say it this way “in Him was Zoë, (God life) and the Zoë or God life is the illumination of men.

Jesus came to bring to man a new nature, eternal life. Until man has this new nature he is living in the realm of spiritual death and is a subject of Satan.

Eph.2:1-2. (Amp) And you [He made alive]; when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins in which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God].

Man in the state of spiritual death is alienated from the life of God, he cannot come into God’s presence, and he cannot fellowship with God. His nature is enmity against God and his only hope lies in the new creation.

I trust you have been blessed by today’ post and that the Word has spoken to your heart. If you have not received this life of God all you have to do is pray the following prayer and Jesus will impart to your spirit the life of God, this God life is what illuminates a man’s heart, and translates him out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom light.

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. Eternal Life 16: The realm of the spirit. In conclusion;

Yesterday we studied some of the beings that actually live in a realm that we cannot contact with our five physical senses. We discussed God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the devil. Let us now wrap up our study on the realm of the spirit by saying that the Word of God also speaks of wicked spirits that are called demons.

Mark.16:17. (Amp) And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages.

The apostle John instructs us by the Holy Spirit that we are not to believe every spirit, so these spirits can influence our lives either for good or for bad. And then the apostle instructs us on how to test the spirits to see if they are from God:

1John.4:1-6. (Amp) Beloved, do not put faith in every spirit, but prove (test) the spirits to discover whether they proceed from God; for many false prophets have gone forth into the world. By this you may know (perceive and recognize) the Spirit of God: every spirit which acknowledges and confesses [the fact] that Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [actually] has become man and has come in the flesh is of God [has God for its source]; And every spirit which does not acknowledge and confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh [but would annul, destroy, sever, disunite Him] is not of God [does not proceed from Him]. This [non-confession] is the [spirit] of the antichrist, [of] which you heard that it was coming, and now it is already in the world. Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world. They proceed from the world and are of the world; therefore it is out of the world [its whole economy morally considered] that they speak, and the world listens (pays attention) to them. We are [children] of God. Whoever is learning to know God [progressively to perceive, recognize, and understand God by observation and experience, and to get an ever-clearer knowledge of Him] listens to us; and he who is not of God does not listen or pay attention to us. By this we know (recognize) the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error.

God has not left us without instruction on how to deal with the devil and his cohorts, our Father has given us the Holy Spirit to teach us how to resist the devil, we see in the book of James that we are to first submit ourselves to God, we do this by submitting to His Word, if He says there is a devil then you better believe that is so, when people disregard the Word that is when they get into trouble, if you dismiss the fact that God says there is a devil and a whole bunch of demons, then you are easy prey for Satan.

James.4:7. (Amp) So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.

(Mess) So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper.

In the original language that the bible was written in it say’s “Resist the devil and he will flee from you in stark terror.

All a believer has to do is take the Word of God which is the sword of the Spirit, subject himself to that Word resist the devil by standing on what the Word has to say about the situation and the devil will have to flee.

Because the doctors have not been able to locate the spirit of man with a knife, the materialist and atheists have said that the body is the whole man.

Rom.1:18-25,28. (Amp) For God’s [holy] wrath and indignation are revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who in their wickedness repress and hinder the truth and make it inoperative. For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them. For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification], because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools [professing to be smart, they made simpletons of themselves]. And by them the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God were exchanged for and represented by images, resembling mortal man and birds and beasts and reptiles. Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their [own] hearts to sexual impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves [abandoning them to the degrading power of sin], Because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, Who is blessed forever! Amen (so be it). For this reason God gave them over and abandoned them to vile affections and degrading passions. For their women exchanged their natural function for an unnatural and abnormal one, and the men also turned from natural relations with women and were set ablaze (burning out, consumed) with lust for one another–men committing shameful acts with men and suffering in their own bodies and personalities the inevitable consequences and penalty of their wrong-doing and going astray, which was [their] fitting retribution. And so, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God gave them over to a base and condemned mind to do things not proper or decent but loathsome.

Man has refused to have God in his knowledge because he has not been able to see Him with the physical eye, hear Him with the physical ear or touch Him.

  • In conclusion.

Man is primary a spirit being created to walk with the Father God on His level. We do realise that when God created man, He (God) had no body, yet man’s fellowship with Him was perfect and complete. This reveals that man’s spirit was dominant; his spirit ruled his mind and body. The body houses the spirit and the soul. The spirit operates through the soul or intellect and these in turn operate through the body. At death, the spirit man and the soul leave the body and afterwards the body has no reason for existing so dissolution and disintegration sets in at once.

Well my dear friends in Christ I trust this has blessed you as much as it has blessed me to share it with you today. Tomorrow we will start a study on why man needs eternal life.

If you are not sure that you have the life of God residing in your spirit man then you will need to pray the following prayer to receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, and receive the free gift that God is offering you today.

Eternal Life 15: The realm of the spirit continued;

Hi to all you lovely people once again, I trust you all had a really good week-end and that you are ready to face the following week with the strength and joy of the Lord.

Last week we ended our study by establishing that there is another realm that exists and we call it the realm of the spirit. It is the realm all around us that we cannot contact with our five physical senses, it is the realm where God operates, and we also established that we have a comforter, or helper in that realm and His name is the Holy Spirit. Now there are other spirit beings that exist in that realm and today we will establish their existence and their function via the scripture. Remember that the scripture (the bible) is what God has to say about that realm.

  • Angels. (God’s angels)

Heb.1:14. (Amp) Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?

We see that God has provided ministering spirits for us, His family, to assist us in our earth walk in certain areas. Angels are not our study a present so we won’t delve into the subject right now but you can do a study on the subject for yourself.

  • Jesus and the Father.

John.14:23. (Amp) Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.

From the above scripture we can see that Jesus said that the way we demonstrate our love for the God head is by obeying the teachings of the Word of God. The moment we set the course of our lives to live the word, by doing it, Jesus and the Father made their special dwelling place with us. ‘

  • The Temple of God.

1Cor.3:16. (Amp) Do you not discern and understand that you [the whole church at Corinth] are God’s temple (His sanctuary), and that God’s Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you [to be at home in you, collectively as a church and also individually]?

(Mess) You realize, don’t you, that you are the temple of God, and God himself is present in you?

Paul teaches by the Spirit of God that we as believers are the temple of God in the church age, understand that the brick building that most call the house of God is nothing more than a brick building, it is not the temple of God, as the Word say’s that you are that temple.

  • The devil.

Pet.5:8. (Amp) Be well-balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

(Mess) Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping.

There are far too many people who don’t believe that there is such a thing as the devil. The bible teaches that there is a devil and that he is a deceiver, the greatest deception is that he doesn’t exist. You see why we need the Word of God to steer us through this physical world that denies the existence of God, the devil, demons etc. Because we cannot contact these entities with the senses it is logical to deny their existence. We can thank God for His written Word that gives clear instruction about the existence of His angels, about Satan and his realm of wicked angels and demons that have one purpose and that is to kill, steal and destroy. It is amazing how God gets the blame for all the wars, and you would think that the way people speak that the entire calamity on the earth is His fault, yet the scripture paints a different picture of our heavenly Father.

Any killing, stealing and destroying going on around you is not God, as Jesus came to give us the God kind of life to enjoy, we are supposed to be living a life of abundance, we are supposed to have life to the full, till it overflows.

Anyway my dear friends out time has come to an end once again, and if you have never received Jesus as you personal Lord and Saviour then I implore you by the mercies of God to make a quality decision this day to do so by praying the following prayer from your heart.

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

May the Lord richly bless each and every one of you this day and may this be the greatest day of your life in Jesus name.

Eternal Life 14: The realm of the spirit;

Hi once again friends, yesterday we discussed the fact that man is a spirit being, he has a soul and he lives in a physical body. Your body allows you, the spirit man to live on earth. It is much like when men go to the moon they cannot survive out there unless they have a space suit on, well without you earth suit (your body) the spirit man and the soul of man have no place here on earth. According to Scripture there is another realm, the realm of the spirit. The Father God, the Holy Spirit, angles, Satan and demons are all spiritual beings and cannot be contacted with the physical senses.

Eph.6:10-19. (Amp) In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. Put on God’s whole armour [the armour of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. Therefore put on God’s complete armour, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, and having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people). And [pray] also for me, that [freedom of] utterance may be given me, that I may open my mouth to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news (the Gospel),

Vs.12. (Amp) For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

This reveals a spiritual warfare surrounding us from which our sense organs receive no stimuli. We are not aware of the Holy Spirit or angels through physical contact.

In John 6 Jesus reveals the coming of a Spiritual being called the Holy Spirit; He is the third person of the triune God head.

John.16:7-15. (Amp) However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you]. And when He comes, He will convict and convince the world and bring demonstration to it about sin and about righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God) and about judgment: About sin, because they do not believe in Me [trust in, rely on, and adhere to Me]; About righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God), because I go to My Father, and you will see Me no longer; About judgment, because the ruler (evil genius, prince) of this world [Satan] is judged and condemned and sentence already is passed upon him. I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now but when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. He will honour and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you. Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.

The Holy Spirit has a very important function in our lives, we see from the scripture that He is our Comforter (Counsellor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby). We are not without help in the world. We see that He has come to be in close fellowship with us. He comes to bring conviction to the world about sin. The sin that He convicts us of is the sin of not believing on Jesus, not relying on Him and trusting Him for your salvation. The only sin that will send a person to hell is the rejection of the sacrifice of Jesus for sin. People who choose to try and present themselves to God through their own works or righteousness, and bypass what God has done for them in Jesus stand condemned before God.

Ish.64:6. (Amp) For we have all become like one who is unclean [ceremonially, like a leper], and all our righteousness (our best deeds of rightness and justice) is like filthy rags or a polluted garment; we all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away [far from God’s favour, hurrying us toward destruction.

(Mess) We're all sin-infected, sin-contaminated. Our best efforts are grease-stained rags. We dry up like autumn leaves--sin-dried, we're blown off by the wind.

We see that the Holy Spirit has come to lead us into all the truth (or reality) of the Word of God. Jesus said “Your Word is Truth”. The Word of God is the only reality that we have; everything else is subject to change but the Word of God never changes, over the last six thousand years it has never changed.

Ps.119:89. (Amp) Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven [stands firm as the heavens].

(Mess) What you say goes, GOD, and stays, as permanent as the heavens.

All of man’s theories about creation, about God, or whatever all seems to have to be revised at some point in time, poor Mr. Darwin and his stupid speculation, although taught in our schools has been proved wrong. Since the discovery of D.N.A. testing we find that D.N.A. never changes, man and monkey do not share the same D.N.A. Darwin himself said before he died that it was only a theory, theories are always subject to change.

Here is an astonishing statement by Jesus; “He will take of what is Mine and will reveal it to you. Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is why I’ve said, He takes from me and delivers to you. Everything that God has, Jesus said, “is Mine” the vast inheritance that Jesus received from the Father will be disclosed to us by the Holy Spirit, you see all that belongs to God also belongs to you as a child and heir of the Father and part of the Holy Spirits ministry is to reveal that inheritance to us.

We dear friend we have come to the end of another week, trust you have all been blessed by our studies in the Word, and feel free to comment, negatively or positively on the studies as I would like to know your thoughts on this subject.

We see that it is the Holy Spirit who convicts a man of not knowing Jesus and if the Spirit of God has spoken to your heart in this message do not harden your heart, but open it and receive the Word of life. If you have never made Jesus your personal Lord and saviour and say to me “I see I need Jesus in my life then all you have to do is say the following prayer by faith, and Jesus will come into your life and set you right with the Father God.

“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Have a really good weekend and remember to spread the Word and share the love of God with all you come into contact with. Jesus is Lord.
